First let me say I love this community and being new to BB, it has taken much of the anxiety from playing w/ and updating my phone. In fact it's made it easy and fun.

Second I love the Lyricidal releases, never had a problem with them. (to be fair I've never used a BBC release, but looked at BBOS and the list of differences and don't feel I'm missing much.)

Anyways I had the 148/5.0 pre-May 26th hybrid on my phone. Everything was great. Mainly the focus box and zoom numbers were working, where they hadn't in the .141/5.0 release for me. Also the time elapsed during movies/music was also working where it had remained static during the .141/5.0 release.

So two days ago, I downloaded the May26th hybrid. I see some new media .cods and some other additions. I've had two anomalies that I didn't really see anyone else have when I searched the boards, but I may have not done a thorough enough search.

1. My camera didn't have the focus box and the numbers didn't update when I zoomed, also there was a flicker at the top, where the picture was offset.
This corrected itself after I closed the camera and hasn't manifested itself again. So no big deal I guess.

2. Today while playing with videos, the bottom play/stop menu came up and pushed the video up, essentially pushing the top so that it looped to the bottom of the screen. So now my entire screen was offset. I quit the media player and was greeted with my battery level and signal bar at the bottom, but no icons anywhere. I power cycled (not a battery pull) and was the screen was just multi-color static. Then I did a batt pull because nothing was responsive. I have yet to recreate this.

So after this needlessly long post (I apologize, I just wanted to be as concise as possible), I ask were these just random things that everyone has experienced before? (as I'm new to BB and the Storm) or is it the addition of the new 5.0 media files that I see were added on May 26th? This is literally the first time I've had to do a battery pull with a Lyricidal release. I do QuickPull once a day, just to get a fresh memory system. (no leaks with Lyr either, ever)

I used JLcmdr tto wipe my phone and installed Lyr's .148/5.0 m26th version and it works like magic. the only thing that sucks about wiping your phone is that you have to re-install all your third party apps. i do quickpull when i wake up everyday also. ive had no problems thus far, just to let you know. keep posting and check the forums!

thanks, yeah've I've never wiped before an install, so that could be it. I'll try it in a bit.
