OOAKDPC 9530 328/405 hybrid

Here's the details:

328 based (shows 328 in about screen)
This is pre-shrunk 40.2mbs (369 files), I have provided the removed
files folder and placed it in the Java folder so things may be added
back in.
137 (405) files
24 (402) files
2 (386) files
5 (371) files
67 (351) files
38 (348) files
The rest of the cods are 328

Includes:

App World (.23)
BBM5
Facebook (latest version)
Docs to Go (with PDF to GO)

Tools Folder:
BBSAK 1.7
Shrink an OS by Lyricidal

List of things removed:
All the language files besides english
global font (latin and european fonts still there)
backgrounds, ringtones, default vid
vznav
tty
vcast
help files
event log viewer
all the messenger programs except bbm (has bbm5)
city id
app center
setup wizard
ota upgrade
and all the games

*Ringtones have been added back in due to popular demand*

Is there a thread started yet for the results of this hybrid yet. If anyone here has tried this, how did things turn out. I realize that nobody has run it for any length of time yet, but are apps and things running correctly? Thanks.

I'm downloading now, I'll post any findings after a successful install. Will post any leaks and such in a later date after usage of hybrid.

If you installed 328 for the 9500, you could replace the java folder with the one for the hybrid it should work just fine.

cool, thanks, will give it a go, luckily got a few fall back phones for if it all goes wrong

im guessing the .zip is going to be the one to d/l then?

what would the difference be between this and .371??

the only problem that i have found with .371 is that my network signal will never get full bars. its steady but seem to visually show less bars then normal.

Someone want to tell me why you remove the ringtone cod? Why?

You remove the ringtones, but include Facebook... that makes no sense to me whatsoever.

Civic, I'll make them anyway you want them just for you if you're really gonna load it up

But if you're just looking to make sense of it all...

I find them to just be a useless bulk on the os, and facebook doesn't even install unless you check it. Plus it is one of the updated apps that I added, and decided I would have all the updated apps load up on default (or at least are in the java folder)

You could go that or

or you could use the installer and just find the 328 folder for the 9530 and copy the java over to the 328 for the 9500

so with what iv just d/l i just copy the java file into the java file i have already from my previous 9500 version?

i would delete the java folder that is already in the 9500 and then put the java folder from the hybrid in its place.

cheers for everyones help, fingers crossed now for in bout half hours time!! (be bout 3 in mornin!) if no joy then guess im not using that today!!, will post back how i got on, will say though that had to restore some language files for GB back from the removed files folder, but that was simple enough
