leak, because my isp is slow updating their official one. but what is official, because it could be an official from AT&T does not mean your isp will make it official for them. does that mean it's an official leak ? :P

Don't be scare, make sure you do manual backup using desktop manager and if there is a bug with an os, you can always install your isp offical os back if you're in trouble.

Depends what you mean by "Official". There's the Official release from one's own carrier, which I can't get because my carrier doesn't sell the Torch. There's the Official release from other carriers, which comes from RIM through proper channels. Then there's leaked OS which comes from RIM, but is leaked outside proper channels and hasn't yet been Officially certified or released by any carrier.

The only issue I have with leaks, which KHMERboy already mentioned, is if somebody accidentally or maliciously infects the download file with a virus or malware.
