Default cannot downgrade from .100 to .90. + Media player bug "solution"

Hi everyone.
I loved much .90: speed, keyboard, transparent band in camera, sound quality (the only OS version in which sound was loud and no "waving").
The only thing which I hated was the 100% restar after few seconds in while playing music.
(However I found that while I am charging via socket charger, there is no restarts! And this great for me! I think that .90 users should now it but I don't know where to post it. Moderators, please post it to the right thread.)

That is why I don't really like .100 which has almost no advantage for me compared to .78. BUT the problem is that I can not downgrade to .90! After system files loading and restart, it does to the constant restart loop. Noting helps: wipes, downgrade first to .78... Everytime I try to install .90. it's always the same : restart loop. I am finally with .100 now. Can anybody give an advice how to downgrade to .90 ?
Thanks in advance.

It's rather peculiar that the install is still faulty after a wipe. Do you uninstall the previous device software before installing the new one? Have you tried reinstalling device manager? What about uninstalling DM and directly loading the device software via the app loader itself?

Hi, completely new to CB. Got my storm 3 weeks ago and the battery life was really annoying me. not particularly a heavy user but the thing would be dead after 6-8hours after a full charge. This has improved since then but hoping an OS upgrade would help. Also the accelerometer was about the most annoying thing, it would never be in the correct orientation when i picked it up so would spend a few second shaking it around until went the right way.

Just put .100 on and first thing I noticed was it was quite laggy to start. Tried a batt pull and its helped but not as good as old OS (Vodafone standard .76 i think). Also never have really had youtube working well but the app does load but no vid. Accelerometer seems to be less sensitive put a few days use will properly test this.

Thanks for the really clear instructions guys, made it very easy.

Default Upgraded from .87 to .100

My youtube app is working fine in .100.

I see no improvements over .87 besides a little bigger letters on keyboard.

- Boot time is 5'24' so its a regression from what i saw on .87.
- Accelerometer feels exactly the same as in .87.
- Camera is working fine.

You have to uninstall the previous OS from your computer to get it to work. Then you delete the vendor.xml file from the new OS and viola; your good to go. DO NOT uninstall your DM! If you want to, you can open the apploader directly with DM installed, seeing as it is part of the DM anyway. Just navigate to the apploader folder, open it, and double click the apploader.exe file. I have NEVER uninstalled an OS from my device before upgrading and have done this for 2 years now. Not trying to sound like a know it all, just trying to share my experiences. It won't hurt to do a wipe first, but always keep a back up of your files, and apps handy at all times, of course. Anybody here like me and have one of these babies working on AT&T in the states?

Default Help me....

Ok so I have been trying to install Sith's hybrid version. I've uninstalled all previous leaked versions, deleted the .xml (vendor) file (though I'm on Verizon and have a 9530) and even used the DM and App loader (seperately). Nothing works and everything keeps telling me all the files are up to date on my phone and there are no newer versions. Am I that computer illiterate or am I missing something?? For the first time on this site I ask for help. P.S. I'm running the 32 bit version of Vista.
:edit:
I noticed that this is for 9500 users and not 9530 users. That explains my problem. U.S. 9530 users are getting the short end of the stick. Thank you though Sith, you do a lot for this forum and I rarely post here. I see how much you and CX do here. Keep up the great work you two. I don't see the site running so smoothly without both of you.
