NO new leaks for OS6?

Ok, we all know RIM is working round the clock to launch OS 7 devices.. but how come we have not received a single OS 6 leak after OS 600. It has been a number of weeks and though OS 600 went official in a number of carriers and OS 615 is also official for the Torch 9800 no other leak has been spotted.

I don´t buy the story that all OS 6 development has stopped until the new OS 7 devices are launched... RIM may not be Microsoft, but they still have an important number of developers and staff to undergo their different projects at the same time.

So... is it that RIM has tightened their security, is it that they have intentionally NOT leaked any version above OS 600 or is it something else.

I won´t come up with the typical post... "leak, leak, leak" , but basically we are all very anxious about this.

For most of us, OS 7 BB devices will not be an option for a number of months, even if they are launched in USA tomorrow! (I am NOT saying this will happen.. !)

Ideas and opinions are most welcomed!!

There have been no leaks since .600, but 6.0.0.615 is also out officially for the 9700. I am running it for the past couple of weeks.

Unfortunately, the problems in .600 are still pretty much the same in .615. I don't think they will ever be able to solve those issues. I am trying hard to keep the faith until I can get a 9900 or 9810.

I wouldn't panic. Leaks come and go, they aren't regularly scheduled by any means. It's not the first time, nor will it be the last, that a few weeks goes by without a leaked OS.

But yes, like Michelle said, one just hasn't slipped out yet.

Who has 615 for the Torch? I've seen it only for the Bold 9700.

So far there is NO 615 for the Torch.. only for the 9700..

What I like to know, are we(OS6 user) are going to get OS6.1 when OS 7 devices launch. This is rumors I readed in pass post in threads here and there. I have not seen anything official yet.

There was never any real rumor, just pure speculation on our part. All based on a pictures taken during a slide show presentation by RIM back in the beginning of the year showing the new Curve getting "OS 6.1 Lite". Our imaginations just took off from there. This was before the OS got renumbered to 7.

Since .647 leaked for the 9780 just a few days ago, I would think there is a decent chance that it would leak for the Torch soon. It was about a week and a half after .600 leaked for the 9700 and 3G Curve that it leaked for the Torch. Although note that .600 never did leak for the 9780 . . . .

I refuse to open another thread about this topic... so..
WE HAVE NOT SEEN A SINGLE LEAK FOR ANY OS6 DEVICE FOR ALMOST 2 MONTHS..
The leak for the 9780 is something different beacause for accident a CB user has been receiving OS updates from his carrier..

I remember when OS 6 devices launched a year ago... OS 5 devices still got new leaks....!

Any news about possible new leaks for the Torch 9800, Bold 9780, Curve 9300, etc..!!??

I do not mean Hybrids.. I refer to clean leaks.!!

would be nice to see a new build higher than 650....or even an big soprise 6.1? lolz im starting to feel like os 6 devices are getting old just like os 5 devices. soon there gonna be no more leaks no more updates.....just like os 4.5 or 4.6
