So you have the .90 Radio code?

If you installed the hybird with .90 radio code, you can go to Options, About. The OS version will be .141, the platform will be a low number (I don't know what it will be) because of the .90 radio code.

Yeah, you will need to get the .90 radio code and use lyricidal's swap-a-radio to change to it if you want a constant EDGE connection.

You can get it here

You can use lyricidal's swap-a-radio and try that, but beware that .90 was a bad build for some people. It seems though with the newer java files, it is less of a pain.
How do i got about doing that? "swap-a-radio" ?

I have never used the program, but it should go into the CDMA folder.

You can manually copy the .90 .sfi file to the CDMA folder and then just run loader.exe and when it says downgrade, select yes.

quick rundown of Swap-A-Radio:
Click Browse, choose your latest OS install folder (in this case C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9530-v4.7.0.141_P4.0.0.174 if you're swapping .141's)
click the radio you want to change to (.90)
and wait til it gives you a message box saying it was swapped
then Launch Loader.exe and update your phone

excellent topic This OS should hold me til the next leak and we'll do it all over again

i have a couple questions....

ok so i have the .141 hybrid, and the .132 is installed on my computer... to get the java files, do i just replace them in the .132 folder and then..... (im not sure exactly what i need to use to update them to my phone...)

---------------
and will the swap a radio work with .132 also even though i have the latest leaked hybrid?

this is still confusing me

I am not sure what the first question is...

Swap a radio will work with any OS, it just replaces the .sfi file in your CDMA folder for you.

a little unclear on your first question
for the second one:
My mistake - the folder I gave you was for people installing over .142
in this case point Swap-A-Radio to 9530-v4.7.0.132_P4.0.0.162, as that will be where most people are installing it, there you should already have the .141 radio, but you can switch to any you'd like
