Leaked OS6 files being removed???

So I was finally gonna commit to downloading and installing OS 6 on my 9700 and every link I've been clicking on taking me to the DL site says the files have been removed or taken down. What's up??

Sometimes RIM makes people take them down.

Good practice to download yourself a copy when you get the chance so you have the file if you want it later.

If not you might have to search a bunch of dead links before you find a working one.

Help...Updating to os6 for the 9700. handset seems to be working but desktop software still says connecting to device. it's been about 30 mins plus at this point. what do i do???

wait longer, it takes some time the first boot.

Thanks for everyone's help. In the long run I actually ended up downgrading back to 5.0.0.979. Wasn't crazy about the feel of os6.
