Leaked OS 7... Bold 9900 coming soon?

Soo now that the OS 7 has leaked out, does this also mean the BB bold 9900 could be coming out sooner(not mid-august) than we expected? Since thats the first phone to have the OS, it only seems logical now..

If anyone knows based on past leaked OS's, let me know. Thanks

We had os builds for the 9930 showing up back in march. Now it's labeled OS7, but still. http://forums.crackberry.com/f95/lea...1-leak-600420/
The leaks have nothing to do with when devices show up. The devices need an os to run.

OS7 has only leaked for the Curve 9350 and 9370... and those devices haven't even been officially announced by RIM yet.

So as Gregory stated above, this means absolutely nothing for the 9900/9930 release date.

It could mean the resources are being allocated to other devices because development for the 9900/9900 is in the final stages.

yea thats weird...I thought OS 7 would ONLY be compatible with the new upcoming devices????

It is (so far, I wouldnt be surprised by a "6.1/7lite")only compatible with new devices. The current Curve is 9300/9330. It would have been bigger news if this leak was installable on anything current. So far for the average end user the leak means nothing. They were able to extract the tutorial videos and Im sure other small things like the icons might become available. We still wait for release in silence.
