I've had this update for a while. I still don't know how to set up the Mobile Hotspot option without getting that message from T-mobile asking me to upgrade my plan and pay more money for the hotspot feature. Is there any way around this? To possibly do it without getting charged?

Just checking with you guys, does this firmware support all carrier? Cause im in Singapore(asia) and im afraid it does not support that country.

One more thing, is this version stable or very buggy? I really need a mobile hotspot badly!

Hope experts can advise.... Thanks in advance!

I suggest you try it out for yourself. There is also 7.1.0.190 and 7.1.0.205. Try each one, once you've found something that works, stick with it.

Yes, the OS is not carrier dependant. And as about I recommend trying .205 as it
Only leaked last night. I am getting the full day now and I think my phone can still do longer with
This OS.

Please read my reply in the other thread. You need to use bbsak to move the hotspot cod files from 7.1.0.74 to your blackberry. There are steps to do it elsewhere on here if you try the search function.

First of all, go for the newest build, and not for the oldest one

You can download it here: Official OS 7.1.0.342 for the Bold 9900

The instructions about the installation are here: Official OS 7.1.0.342 for the Bold 9900

I am just not sure about the HotSpot with AT&T- just ask the question in the other thread.
But even if it would not work, the change is really worth it.
