I guess there aren't a lot of 9790 users compared to 9900. Its still a great phone though..

downloading as I type...
I find it very strange that there are not many users of this bb, I came from the 9900 and I absolutely love this little guy, the camera is amazing and the size is perfect, although I miss the 9900 keyboard...
will report later when I upgrade...BlackBerry Bold 9790

Have it up and running. Running smooth so far. Only differences I see is
1- when in application switcher the label that was added in the last leak is gone.
2- I can't get device analyser to show in option. When I press "alt+BBDA" a little window pops up saying its now enablesd but I still can access it. Weird. - 09-17-2012, 04:42 PM #16
I might give this thing a try just for fun. I haven't loaded a new os since I put the berrylicious hybrid on this thing. (Rc3 over .649 to be precise.) Nah maybe not...I kinda like coming home from work with 70% battery left. (50% on real heavy days)

Downloaded ... smooth upgrade ...
Have it running for a few hours now and all my apps are working fine. Am a OS upgrade junkie :-) have to try out all the latest versions ... till now have had only one not so good experiences - on my earlier 3G 9300 - when one of the leaked OS versions did not work as expected and I had to downgrade.
The 9790 is a fabulous device! Am totally impressed with the form and functionality - the real winner is the auto focus camera! Bridging with my PB64 was a breeze - just point and shoot the barcode and it was done! Very nice! - 09-18-2012, 10:31 AM #22
Anyone still have the media player bug? (Where, if paused and unpaused, sound quality completely degrades?)

Found a (new?) Vendor.xml location in Windows 7
or try this program
VENDELETE.CMD - VENDOR.XML file Remover
ohw and most leaked versions don't work well with BBDM, so install directly from the installation directory
