Wow. I just installed it on my BlackBerry Curve 9380 , and it's a lot faster and responsive. I don't know for the battery but I think it's a lot better. I'm off to install the Hybrid OS since I'm curious to it. I'm installing the Babyluv Barracuda series 4.
Installing / Upgrading / Modifying the OS of a BlackBerry phone is a lot faster than an iPhone, iPod and an iPad.

The battery life has improved significantly. App world has the other devices option from the Beta zone version. I have had issues with some apps not functioning 100% such as Slacker and Rdio. These two apps can be slow to respond and/or crash at times. Overall its pretty stable though.

hi guys.. I would like to buy the 9380 but the battery life scares me.. just one day would be too short for me actually..
if I stay always with 3G, position, wi-fi and BT off, and turn it off at night, will the battery last at least a couple of days?
I mostly use BBM and whatsapp that in my actual 9300 work also in GPRS (no 3G) and some emails (gmail), and finally a few phone calls (3.4 short calls a day)
thanks please help me in this decision wouldn't like to "waste" 200+ euros for a cell phone that I have to charge every 10 hours..

I wanted to provide an update to my previous post. i have found that i am not receiving notifications for updates/upgrades in app world. i have to open app world and select each installed app before any upgrades are shown as available.
