Leaked OS 7.1.0.402 for BlackBerry Bold 9900 Findings and Fixes

Yeah the radio on .391 is much better / stable than .402.
I have also had issues with 402 freezing which I think is due to a memory leak. I'm hoping for a good quality .4xx leak soon.

Actually 391 has the same radio version as that on 402.

No, they are different....402 Platform is 5.1.0.321 and .391 is 5.1.0.319.

Those numbers may mislead you. When you go to check "about this device version" under Device info, both versions give you "cellular radio version 5.0.2.1.1 sv36".

Yes you are right about the cellular radio version, most of us over here in CB call a platform/SFI file as a "Radio" file (in my country we call it SFI file).

IMO, .391 has better batteru life compared to .267

guys i cant install the rogers .391 on my pc .. i cant and when i install it i cant install to my bb bold 9900 ... any one face this issue ??

Use Apploader or Blackberry Desktop Manager to load up the OS. Delete the vendor.xml's.
And it should work and you can load up the OS.

Where did you noticed those issue's? I had this when i was typing texts on the CB forum.
But on BBM, composing texts and email's and so on it worked fine.

I went from 7.0 to this 7.1.0.402, quite tempted to try .391 from reading here as radio is a bit jumpy - SOS occasionally and constant flicking between GRPS and EDGE where I live (can't get 3g here ;-) )

Keep having a problem every now and again with this OS, keeps freezing with what looks like the loading square in the middle of the screen ( but its just a blank square) and needs a restart to get it going again. Thought I'd let use all know

ive been running this update for about a week and i have been having an issue with ebay.

any notification on ebay regarding an item ending soon comes up in my message box. i open it up and it goes to whatsapp instead of the ebay app.

anyone else experiencing this?

this is happening on my phone and my older brothers 9900 also.

going to make a torrent and put it in my seedbox for 9900 and one for the 9930 also will post links
seedbox is on a 1gbit connection non sharred so shoud upload around 10-20 megs +

That's .391 which is also old news, and it doesn't matter what country or vendor an OS is for... it still works.

I just don't get the point of your first post. It sounded like you were going to upload a new 9900 leak, but you're just mirroring an old one that nobody wants anymore.
