OK lol
But really what would happen?
And is this a official release
or a leaked OS?

This is a leaked one...I think the vendor file is something related to the carrier... So as we are all installing the same version with different carriers it sometimes messes up service books on the device making it hard to use bb services like bbm etc...and then in extreme circumstances that's when you get the overheating problem and fires

I've installed this OS last night. So far I've noticed that it's faster. My only complaints about the install was that it deleted all of my bookmarks that I added to the home screen for google, facebook, CrackBerry, ect. Also in the browser when I go to type in an address, it'll freeze...I was having that issue on 7.0 as well so I'm not sure if it's software related or what.

Bookmarks Get backed up if you done it properly... I'm not sure about the freezing issue... Does it come back to life after the freeze or do you have to battery pull ?

The bookmarks stayed, but what didn't was the shortcuts I added to the home screen. I should have specified, sorry. And as for the freezing issue, it'll work itself out after 60 or 90 seconds.

Yeh the home screen ones should have been backed up aswell did you do full settings backup... Yeh this phone has a freezing issue but all the time on your browser seems abit dodgy maybe re install the os first doing a full wipe
