Leaked OS 7.1.0.205 for BlackBerry Torch 9810 Findings and Fixes

I guess luck is with us. Just like the BlackBerry Bold 9900, the BlackBerry Torch 9810 is now seeing a leaked version of OS 7.1.0.205. If you're looking to get you're device upgraded, now is as good a time as any. Just keep in mind it's a leaked build, back up your data and such before you load this one up.

Is it okay to upgrade to this from 7.0 or should I go to 7.1.0.190 first?

WARNING There is a point in the install, that your device may be stuck at the reboot screen for up to 20 mins. DO NOT disconnect your device. There are updates to the browser and a few other applications that need to be over written. Be patient

Loaded Up and running, not noticing anything that jumps out at me as new. Device seems snappier, but that could be due to a fresh install.

I have 9900 and i installed the first leaked 7.1 OS and that time i had my mobile hotspot at connections menu and after two weeks its suddenly disappeared and than downgraded to 7.0.
Right now i upgraded again to 7.1.205 and still there is no mobile hotspot
Could you please help? - 01-18-2012, 04:24 PM #20Cell Phone History:Motorola Bag phone > Motorola Star Tac gen1 > Motorola Star Tac gen 2 > Motorola Razr > BlackBerry Pearl(8110) > Iphone gen1 > BlackBerry Curve(8310 Red) > BlackBerry Torch(9800 Black) > BlackBerry Torch II(9810 Gunmetal Silver) > BlackBerry Bold 9900) > BlackBerry Z10(STL100-3 Black)

BBProtect seems to not respond. Been stuck at the Connecting screen for 5 minutes now. Also lost sound profiles for T4BB, uninstalled/reinstalled and all is good now with twitter.
EDIT:
Not getting any notification for T4BB, asterisk on the main icon or a notification icon.Last edited by homer1475; 01-18-2012 at 04:58 PM.

also working for me now. Wonder if it was an issue with so many people updating their device at the same time?
