Does the bridge with the playbook work?

Downloading now. Will see how this one works. I installed the .74 and had to replace it with the new AT&T official release.

One question, though. I tried using the hotspot on the .74 and it kept saying I need to add a hotspot plan from AT&T to use it. Is this right?

Worked good for the 12 or so hours I had it installed...but - the no 2G 3G/4G switching ability is, for me, a dealbreaker. I frequently use my phone in high traffic (large crowd) areas, and as such will drop back to EDGE to be able to make and receive both calls and data. (Albeit slower). Without that capability, I can't take a chance.

Hey Zocster,
I have not yet installed this new leak yet and have not tried any of Mecca's hybrid builds - but it sounds like in this release the OS does not have the option to lock to 2G/3G - so I don't think it is an issue of improper installation to the device.
As I previously posted, hopefully there is some mechanism within the sfi (or somewhere in the OS) whereby it will "downswitch" to 2G/3G automatically in poor signal areas - but this is only a presumption on my part.9810 on BL Ultimate AT&T Special V4 - 01-09-2012, 08:43 AM #68

Everyone. Zocs and most of the 9900 .190 users all have the option to switch to 2G, which means something was left out. Testing for a way to recover this now...

At first I thought you were being a , then I looked and saw who was posting, put 2 and 2 together, got what you said, and got the Multiupload link. THANKS.
Sorry I am too dense to ever use your hybrids (tried twice, cried twice). Maybe how long it took me to get this post explains why I might have trouble with anything slightly more complex?
Anyway, thanked, liked, etc.Low Speed High Drag.
