Went from .74 to .205 on Friday with the Hotspot cod from .74 and it's been working like a charm. I did have 1 or 2 random reboots. But it was a smooth update.

.205 works great for me. No issues, very responsive. Good batt life. Nice update, can't complain here.

After using .190 for over a week it has settled down and everything seems to be working fine. Except when I miss a call I can't see it by clicking on "View calls" but I have to press the calls button... not a big issue!

Battery life is great now (2G) will try using 3G tomorrow.

Oh, rebooting has slowed down... but it's not bad

Also, if you already have the leak installed and then copy the files over to the Java directory, you should be able to fire up DM and go to the Applications list and select to install the input fonts you want. If you want all the files to copy over I can send them to you when I am back at my PC - travelling at the moment. PM me if you want them.

Thanks!

I'm in the middle of the 'install' process and the device keeps disconnecting on its own. The Blackberry seems to power off and gets stuck at the 2/3 part of the bar when turning back on. After a while, it finally speeds up and finishes turning on. The phone acts like I have never used it before with videos instructing me on it and a welcome email. The device then re-connects to the Blackberry Desktop Manager and continues the installation process (not quite sure if it starts over or what). It proceeds to do this over and over again (this is my third time it's shut down). The BBDM says "Reconnecting to JVM" beside the Install sign.

Anyone have any ideas?

Connect it without the battery until it reaches that stage, then reconnect the battery. You might need to reinstall the device software if that doesn't work. Loopboots suck.

I did try that and it won't connect without the battery in. However, when I checked it does say I am running 7.1 and the only thing I really checked was seeing that I have Mobile Hotspots now. None of my previous stuff, such as apps, are there right now but I did do a backup before I tried to install.
