I wonder if in this new leak, it addressed the SMS smiley face bug. When, if you add any smiley in SMS it leaves you with next to no characters left in the usual restricted amount.

Thats great to hear, thanks for the heads up. Loading this sucker now. Cheers. And for the record, the hotspot feature has saved my a couple times now, stuck downtown vancouver after a meeting, I needed to fire off a document on my work lappy, connected and fired off a 4mb PDF in no time flat. Just in awe of this feature guys.
Thanks again for the new leak info!

Just installed it - for some reason, there's seems to be smoke and flames coming out of the battery cover. Is that bad? Now it seems more like an iPHONE!

No success testing this Leaked OS 7
Hi everybody, i am new around here, i just change my old 8900 for a 9900 a couple of days ago. I want to try this leaked OS but can't get to download to my BB. This are the steps I follow unfortunately with no results:
1. Dowloaded the installer to my laptop
2. Connected my 9900 to my laptop via USB
3. Run the installer
4. Restarted my laptop and my BB
5. Check de OS version and still the same:v7.0.0.353
I repeat several times in different order step with no succes. Could any of you guys give some step by step suggestion?
Rgds

On ATT network
Has anyone installed running ATT network? If so, does their mobile hotspot work or do you have to tack on tethering plan?

So far, this leak has been nothing short of bad for me. First I noticed that wifi hotspot wasn't working. Aside from that, my phone has just been very laggy ( more so than other times after installing a new os) Last, it just rebooted by itself.
