People have been asking for a leaked OS for their fancy new BlackBerry Bold 9900's just so happens OS 7.0.0.353 has been around for a little while and now -- you all can have it. Not sure what, exactly it improves upon since it's only been available for a short time but we're sure you'll all let us know. Be safe, back up your data before load this one up.
Loaded this and apparently had a newer version of appworld and i foolishly installed the official version from blackberry.com over it! Please anyone confirm that the newer version is 2.1.4.13 instead of 2.1.4.9!
update: when installing apps, i was installing about 16 apps at a time, thats a lot and there were hour glasses but the phone was functioning fine, inface sent about 3 bbm's while installing and clock face in view. thats pretty good to me. Meterberry works good for me, so does wikitude and all other apps ive installed.
i also used loader.exe to load this after BBHtools to shrink and BBSAK to wipe.
installed apps:
3d roller-coaster rush
bebuzz 4 full
bereader full
beweather full
bb app world
bb maps
bbm .129
bb protect
dailyhoroscope
docs to go
facebook
fancy characters 4.2.4 full
filescout lite
google url shortener
ilock 2.1.1 full
jadanywhere

meterberry

sixtools full
tunein radio pro

Don't use loader.exe otherwise your application list getting empty. Use Desktop software to upgrade.
I thought that was the case too. I have found though if you wipe the device first, then use App Loader, the app screen & all selected apps load properly. It did this for me on the other builds too. I prefer App Loader vs DM.
I deleted carrier themes, yahoo & msn from the java folder. Also the non English fonts. At 207MB with all my apps loaded.
Meterberry works fine here. Only had to BBSAK ontouchflashlight in. All other apps loaded fine VIA App World or Mobihand Superstore.
Whatsapp, google sync & maps work fine too.
Have not noticed any issues yet, too soon to say on the battery life yet. I'll give it a day to settle in.
been over 3 hours that i updated my phone and the battery life has gone down by 7% only on heavy usage that included BBM,browsing and a couple of reboots.
it seems more stable than .317. feels faster
the previous screen freezing issue has been sorted out
BATTERY life seems to be a lot better. Guess RIM has been listening to our woes.
Wowzers just installed this and scrolling through the menus, screen transitions and browser seem to be super fast, can't comment on battery yet but Meterberry is working
