Are there any programs yet for the 9530 which shut open programs in on push of the button or do you still have to shut each one at a time?

I just downloaded V4.7.141 for my 9530. For some reason my email icons do not show up on screen. Does anyone know what is wrong?

I've had the storm for just over 2 weeks now. Been rocking .75 up until yesterday. All I have to say is, wow.

4.7.0.141 is awesome, love the full portrait keyboard, quick response, phone icon, everything! Glad I updated.

Thanks for the faqs and links~

Turning your mobile network on should fix this

No. But it would actually depend on what OS you upgraded from. The newer the leak, the less improvement you'll likely see.

Mikenbekah:

I am sorry that this message is so late but I have been away from Crackberry for a few days because my crazy 9 year old boy broke his arm skateboarding!

I still have the Vendor issue and had no idea that it should have been done before the OS upgrade. I am hoping that the Vendor issue that we are talking about is removing the Verizon that come up when I power on and off the phone.

As I stated I am newbie with moderate computer skills. Love my new Storm and am with ATT. I have a few bugs that i would love some help with so please feel free to email privately at linabowersatcomcastdotnet

Thank you so much for responding to me!

Lina

By the way just wanted to add that I have both the iPhone and the Storm and they are both awesome devices that each serve their purposes. Blackberry rocks my work world and iPhone rocks my personal world!

I have tried several betas and no doubt out of all of them .132 is the best for me. It seems like every Storm has a mind of it's own!

I had the .141 as soon as it came out. Been running it since but i have noticed my battery life go down faster than a thai hooker!!!! And memory leaks to about 5 MB with same programs i was running. Viigo weatherbug im+ , youmail, pandora, gps on, and blue tooth on. I couldnt believe that update wasnt as good on my phone as others. Reverted back to .132 and i got constant 25-35 MB free and holding with the same programs running.
I am going to wait for the blackberry storm 2 and ditch this one.

Default Help with 4.7.0.141 install

I am having trouble installing leaked .141. I have downloaded from the site, run the install, launch the latest desktop manager, and connected my phone. When the desktop looks of new software, it does not see the .141. What steps am I missing or maybe doing incorrectly? Thank for this site by the way and all of your that contribute.

When installing via desktop manager, make sure to disconnect from internet as desktop manager will scroll the net to find official updates.

go to lyricidial's thread for the .141/5.0 hybrid.
here: BlackBerry Apps/Hybrids by lyricidal
There you will find a 5.0 java only .rar. I think it up to 54 files now
