Leaked 9700 OS 6.0.0.461 fixes and findings

I have had a few problems with it slowing down now on searches, also the facebook app didn't install the notification preferences. Had to reinstall the app again.

Apart from that battery great, browser speed is better also.

After 10-12 hours of usage memory leak seems much more stable than .448.

Only issue for me the garbled bookmarks.. Everything else in good shape, I dare to say, better than .448

I too having such problem with the bookmarks. Is there a way to solve the problem?

My email cursor is gone in this OS but the swipe to left will no longer go to the next email which i find good for doing copy and paste as I always got this issue in .448.Nevertheless once u press shift u will get your cursor back.

I installed weds night (from .448). Other than the missing visual voicemail files I haven't seen any problems with this release. But I am still seeing a memory leak. I last rebooted about 23 hours ago and I have lost 16meg of memory according to MeterBerry.

Nope. I downloaded it from here: mediafire.com/?k710i71tuwgo8gs

Used BBSAK to Install CODs, opened the folder and selected all the files.

It installed, rebooted and works perfectly.

I rebooted and it asked me for a password @_@ or some sort of pin!

Also, you mean ALL the cods and jad in the folder or just cods to install?

There still is a mem leak but I think its much more stable and slow (the mem leak) then the .448 one.

Memory leak is definitely better. I used for like 12 hours with multiple PINs and even some games and loss like just 1 mb.

So not bad.

I got to ask you since you said the cursor is back. When you install the BBm files, did you install the CODs and JAD or just CODs only?

Opps sorry my bad.

I find memory leak in this leak is the most minimal. The only problem I received / encounter is the freaking browser bookmark. Other than that, everything seems fine.

Agreed. If you install this without a keycode, you're screwed. I had to delete it and now find the cods for bbm from 461 to reinstall.

No fix for people (like myself) that have this issue. I had to downgrade to .448

Tried everything before doing this. The only thing I did not try was replacing .461 SMS .cod files by .448 .cod files... I don´t have the time for that "experiment".

Anyway I´m fine with .448 until a newer leak pops up!

ML, you agreed about this not being the right thread fot BBM issues and then you keep on posting on this!! Come on dude!!

.461 has a better memory management, but in my case it proved sluggish overall and have the SMS issue (icon dissapears after you do the first battery pull). Also most of my QL shortcuts don´t work any more..

All - I am still seeing this wifi/3G issue of the browser hanging when connected to both. I am also using Smart wifi to manage the wifi connection. Anyone have any ideas? Seems like browsing should be very quick when connected to wifi, but it is not like it was with OS 5. I am on BES as well, but have always been.
