With .75 I had a major issue with speed dial not working when I was bluetooth connected. Phone would dial, then hang up. So I tried .83 and it's fixed. Also unit seems faster and camera is definately faster with better picture quality. I compared my unit with my wifes who still had .75 loaded. I'm pleased with .83 so far.

NOGO I download .83 from first post of this thread but it still will not recognize that it is on the computer and it tells me that and update is not needed that I have the current version. Verify on the phone and .75 is still the OS version. Is their another place to get this .83 OS leak from?

I've been running .83 since Saturday and haven't run into any major problems. I did a Wipe before installing it and then reload my settings.

The media player doesn't have the constantly flicking controls anymore and battery life seems to be better so far.

I've gotten this several times myself. I removed some third party apps to see if they were the problem. They were running in compatibility mode. If I continue to get this I will back up my data and do a fresh OS reinstall.

you should see a list of the different OS's, at this point, disconnect your internet, choose the OS you want and load

It would say media card inserted and wouldn't start after that. I had to do a couple battery pulls in order for it to get past that screen. Other than that everything else is good. Running better than ever.

Another thing, how's everyone's memory? After a battery pull I start off around 38MB. Couple hours later it was around 12MB. By the end of the night it was down to 8MB. I'm assuming the 3rd party applications are killing the memory even though I close them when done. This morning I deleted Viigo and Weatherbug. Memory seems better without them two. I started at 38MB and I'm still at 26MB couple hours later. I'm going to have to delete all 3rd party applications and start one by one to see what's killing the memory.

Another thing, battery is much better with .83.

I'm also having this problem. Any way to fix this?

On another note, when i try to set up an account at this URL, https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=vzw
it says an account already exists for my PIN but i never made one. It sends login info to my BB but it also says I don't have an account made...wtf?

It should recognize it. I downloaded it, installed it, and followed the instructions. I did not wipe mine first either. One quirk I noticed is that some times when I open the menu, instead of the menu I get the bar in the middle shoing the current programs running (like if I ere to hold the menu button down).
Other than that, it seems to be running pretty good so far.
