The Lock button on top is now functioning as a combination of stand-by and keypad lock. The usual Lock icon on your BlackBerry menu has became "Password Lock", which functions as the old fashion combination of keypad and password lock. In addition, the password autolock feature after amount of x minutes still works as it was designed to be like before .536 was leaked.
The mute button now only does its only job to mute the mic while in phone mode or playing music/video. I hope this'd clarify confusions for most of us =)

I was thinking the position of the name was different, if it was there at all. Something just looked different, and I use app switcher all the time.

Also, the browser seems significantly quicker, but that could be network or just plain placebo.

Thanks!
I am using AutoStandby. It still does work, but only if you choose "Lock" as the function. Choosing "Standby" or "Both" no longer work. And you have to press the Lock button to bring it out of standby, not the mute button.

A lot of people are used to doing it the old way lol. I was concerned because I want to be able to activate password lock at will, and not wait for a timout. =)

Its part of the fun of a new OS. Trying to figure out what changed and how things work.

How can i disable the lock key?? Pressing * for lock and pressing *+call for unlock is great. Then you cannot accidentally unlock your phone and call somebody you don't want to.

The browser is definitely way faster than it was that's for sure, maybe they've incorporated their last proxy patent into this build and are compressing the data upon send/receive to speed things up.

Yeah no kidding =) I was going to say the same thing! (Well except the colorful wording at the beginning of the statement.) The problem is I am not sure if it was because I was expecting it to be faster, or if it actually is faster (shrugs).

I did try loading a large webpage and it did seem able to handle it better. Anyone else confirm?
