just went from 110 to 124. for the very first time during one of my many upgrades, desktop manager hung on the "connecting to device" after the os install and before the reloading of my data and settings.

the berry was fine, just in a "right out of the box" state with none of my settings or data.

returned to the main DM screen to do a restore from the backup i did prior to
the upgrade.....and the restore option was greyed out and unavailable.

exited the DM disconnected the phone. connected the phone again and restarted DM. then, the restore button was available. re-sent service books.

did a sucessful restore and 124 is now up and running and seems to be fine.

no noticable diffs from 110 that i can see.

Make sure you have your internet connection turned off. The new version of DM checks your carrier for the latest software and won't let you upgrade to a non carrier branded OS. Happened to me when i downgraded to 4.5.0.89 on my vzw curve.

This edition is causing one of the worst memory leaks in memory. I did a battery pull, and within 20min of it booting up I had lost over 1MB. And all I did during that time was receive all of three emails.

My free file after a fresh reboot is 28, but its always been high for a GSM as I have alot of things taken off that I dont use, or want.
