Don't know if it's been clarified by anyone and a little late but it's an important note:

If you are using Windows Vista, be sure to open CrackMem by right-clicking on CrackMem and selecting "Run as Administrator" or else CrackMem will confirm the actions were successful, yet nothing has been removed or done.

Default Finally installed .124 last night!

Ok, so I decided to try .124 to see if my severe free memory problems went away. And it seems to have done the trick! So far the only lockup occured while saving a place as favorite using Google Maps. Other apps work as they should so far.

I used CrackMem before installing the OS. The process took a while, but this morning the phone was ready. The update occured withouy errors.
Free memory has consistently been above 10 MB.I have seen 12-15 MB during the day.

I hope it keeps working ok. So far, I have not experienced the usual lockups!

Been out of beta for quite a while, and still the best. You'll have everything you need here:

after my upgrade...I'm still mixed on .124 and if it was worth it. the battery drain and memory leak seems to be a big issue. I dumped all of my info to memory SD and do battery pulls often. tried to delete some of the apps that I don't use. Still leak memory after one click of an app.

If you have it auto-update, it sure does!

Cool So do u get the BIS service on it?

[QUOTE=orlandoj;1354861]Im on the Digicel Jamaica GSM Network, and i upgraded from 4.5.0.52 two days now to 4.5.0.124. I see the the cam works good now, proformance has improved a bit, making my pearl 8100 more responsive than ever, running on SD 2GB. I noticed one problem so far, i have two 8100 berries and i realized that from the HOME SCREEN the * (star) or the # buttons on both phones do not work there. I have to press the send key to bring up the CALL LOG screen and enter * or # from that screen. Anyone else noticed this? it did not operate like that in the previous 4.5.0.52 version i had.[/QUOTE

Ok this is what i wanna kno zeen, I'm using the same 4.5.0.124 on my 8100 pearl an when ever i subscribe for the BIS with Digicel the "edge" still stay in lowercase y is that it never changes to "EDGE" have u notice that problem?

This is an ancient thread and OS. Try doing an upgrade, and then if you're still having data issues, contact digicel.
