NO, the Leaked/official OS's cannot fix this as this a feature not a bug.

But, you can use any other theme available, my personal favorite is this one,

(credit to elmorro)

Try the theme its like the OS5 default

Cheers

OS 6.1 is suppose to allow you to manage those folders.

Personally, I like what they've done with OS6 and the many sliding trays, curtains and so forth. I think it's great. It's been a disappointment to me that many of the fine OS6-ready themes I have tried do not incorporate the features of the default homescreen. I think it's a tremendous improvement over OS5, finally putting to good use the screen area the old default theme simply squandered.

That having been said, I am aware others do not care for the many sliding areas of the default homescreen. I see no reason why any of us, the "for" or the "against," should be made to put up with only one way of doing things. Given the capabilities of the technology, my opinion is that an option to turn these features on or off will allow everybody to go home a winner. I hope someone at RIM is bright enough to make this same deductive leap.

Then again, my opinion plus another dollar-fifty might get you a cup of coffee. Maybe.

I like the different trays, but the main tray shouldn't have to be such a hassel to open. The menu button should just open all the icons instead of asking the user "Open tray". That is ridiculous. What else could i want, but to open up all my icons.

They could make it accountable to one of those "don't ask this again" checkboxes.
