.237 Rocks, solid build for sure. Very fast even on 3party theme, Wifi stable, 3G strong, waiting for battery though....
Rogers tethered modem works fine on it.
Youtube works on streaming WAP, but not on WiFi.

It did see a charger for about 10 min while I was on break, but my data usage has been huge since I grabbed this one. Happier with this build so far than I was with .244. Bummed there's still no fix to the browser text field wrap issue, but I wasn't expexting it to be fixed since it still occurs in .244
It might be helpful to note that I installed this one on a clean wipe. I then restored 3rd party apps but redid all my settings manually. Thanks Jazzi-Rocks and bmcclure937 for the how-to's. I was pretty sure I knew how to do all that, but your step-by-step made it possible for me to do it before running out to work this morning nstead of waiting until tonight to tiptoe slowly through the steps myself.

Viigo is a big memory hog if you don't make sure to tell it not to pre-load and cache content. Turn off the auto-update feature if you haven't already. Make sure you don't have a bunch of web shortcuts that make themselves available off-line, since you use three e-mail accounts it might be worth limiting the number of emails you're storing. Move the Speed Racer video and the music video to your SD card or delete them altogether, and check your chat clients to see if they're automatically updating the pictures of your buddies. If you've been testing a bunch of themes you should delete the ones you don't need. Basically, unlike a computer, storage space is memory on a Blackberry and anything you can move to the SD should be. Clear your browser cache from time to time (but don't delete your cookies). Anyone think of anything I missed?

hi, i just upgraded from 216
everything works fine
but i have some problem:
-i can't get the weather push to work!!
when i push the weather setup icon, it will bring me to I accept page, then i press i agree, then it bring me to accuweather or weather network selections, to add city, whenever i try to add the city, it always said "unfortunately an error occured, please try again later."
i really like the built in weather app as it 's icon is very nice so can somebody help me ???
and also i got about 52 MB after wiping so is that acceptable ?
thx.

I've stepped away from the .245 thread and OS to join in on the fun here at .237 after some respected advice that this is a solid OS... Well, better than .245 anyways. Gettin .237 loaded at this very moment.

Gettin .237 loaded at this very moment. | This is the thing that confusses me about these OS upgrades. I would have thought that a higher OS would be a step up from the lower ones. I have read a few comments in other forums that people are installing 221 and 235 over the higher 245. I still have the current OS that my Bold came with and have no complaints. The 167 is fine for now. I'm to chicen to install a OS form a website other than the RIM people themselves. The only thing that I hate about my Bold is the weak a$$ vibrate settings. The vibrate first and ring second is stupid. I can't feel a thing. I had my phone in my pants pocket at work tonight and my text message went off. I didn't even feel it vibrate. i had it set to 3 vibrates. The people at RIM are pissing me off with this crap. Unless there's a way to strengthen the vibrate settings, I'm not upgrading anything. I really think I'm going to switch back to my Motorola Q9H qnd use my Bold strictly for email and internet.

You're right, ^ the Vibrate... sometimes I feel and sometimes I don't. To be honest, when I'm out walking I usually never feel the vibrate no matter what phone I have.
I tried that free Vibe/ring app, but didn't like it at all and pulled it. I wasn't willing to pay the $3 for Vibe & Ring but I just won a free copy... big woop... but I will try it and I hope I can program some wild pulse pattern that stimulates some form of awareness that something is happening in my pants.

There's a free download called " Buzz me" in these crackberry forums somewhere. I installed it and it works fine. But the vibrate is still weak and I can't feel it, so I just leave it disabled. You're right about walking and not feeling your phone vibrate. But not with the Motorola Q9H. That phone had the best vibrate settings. That was the main reason it took me so long to buy the Bold. The Motorola Q was the 1st phone I ever had that vibrated and rang at the same time. Not just on phone calls, but for all messaging also. You could fell that phone while you are walking. I was sitting down at work and couldn't feel the Bold. I might be canceling my contract and switching my phone plan back to the motorola, and just use the blackberry personal plan for the bold.

has anybody had a white screen of death for up to 5 seconds when they take their device out of the holster?
has anyone had an issue of being stuck in emergency only and having to do a battery pull to regain service?
thanks
