Thanks Garz, I guess I should come out of the theme forum once in a while and read up on what's going on, huh?

+1

Yeah, I got sick having to go run Loader.exe on 4.7 so I uninstalled 4.7 and went with 4.6. It's much more stable for the bold...

Once again, Garz is correct. Thanks to you too Katadare!

It must have been DM 4.7, uninstalling as I type.

Let us know how it works out. Hopefully that is the issue.

Ready to go to bed when I saw this update! updated from .167 (?). Runs smooth with no install issues and all my apps work. I did notice a wireless upgrade option under advanced settings, maybe that was already there. Anything specific I should be looking for?

Well I just used Loader to install .215 and it's fine so it had to have been DM 4.7. DM 4.6 is now installed so next time we have an OS update I'll let you know how it goes.

Aside from the problems mentioned here, what other horror stories? I have DM 4.7 installed and was able to update to 210. Were these problems present for that release or only for 214 and 215?

After using .215 for only 10 minutes, I noticed the speed of the OS come back. It's now as fast as .190 for me.

Scanning took forever! After that, pretty speedy!

Guys stop with the DM 4.7 bashing. It works just fine. So what is the haps with Wifi on 215. Any better than 3G? Wifi has been the biggest letdown on the Bold. It should be MUCH faster than 3G!!!

Did you develop it or something?

Obviously there's a problem with it, I just proved it. Or did you not even read any of this thread before posting?

Maybe its the router. Every wifi that I have connected to whether its at home, the office, or a At&t hotspot has been super fast. This has been all OS versions that I have tried.
