Bold, .247, lost contact ringtone

I searched and read, but I find no solution, so I just wondered if anyone else was experiencing trouble with assigning ringtones to a contact?

I have an .mp3 for my main ringtone, and it works great. It is on the media card.

I have another .mp3 I assigned to a contact. 2 OS's ago (.22?) it worked fine. I went to a .23? and it stopped working. Recently went to .247 and no change.

I have tried all the suggestions found in a search. I changed it in the edit screen of the contact. I set it from the main contact screen, menu choice. I checked the profiles, and that user is set to have special treatment.

I have done battery pulls and soft resets, all to no avail. I have moved the .mp3 to the main memory, still no change. The .mp3 plays fine in the media player, but since the last 2 upgrades, no love using it for a contact.

Anyone else?
