Bold .234 with different radio?

I was wondering if anyone has tried any different radios with .234 for Bold..

I've tried .216 and I get an app error 523..

Has anyone successfully used another radio with .234? because the radio on .234 is horrible.. I lose service in a lot of places..

I have the same signal problem. I haven't tried the mix radio method yet, but I remember .228 had pretty good signal. Maybe try that

Is there a way I know it'll work together though? because .216 radio doesn't work with .234 OS

I don't want to either, but I'm getting horrible reception with this build.. I get from full service to no service outside in the street with a clear blue sky above me.
