    Default Blackberry Messenger 6.0.0.31 **UPDATED**

    **UPDATED**

Blackberry Messenger 6.0.0.31 - No keycode required and the Cursor is fixed!!

**This has only been tested on a 9700 & 9780**

    *Warning*
YOU MUST INSTALL BBM 6.0 THROUGH APPLOADER ONLY. INSTALLING THE COD FILES WITH BBSAK WILL NOT WORK!!

On your device you should start with BBM 5.0.1.46

Load BBM 5.0.2.11 (http://forums.crackberry.com/f224/bb...or-fix-587980/) to your device.

Download: MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

In the downloaded folder you'll find two folders:
    alx FILE & cod FILES

Open 'alx FILE' and copy BlackBerryMessenger.alx to the OS folder.

Open the 'cod Files' and copy all 15 .cod files to the Java folder.

    Run Apploader and update BBM.

    Example of where the OS & Java folders are:(C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9700AllLang_v6.0.0.461_P6.6.0.137)

**In 'Application Management' it will still say 5.0.1.46 BUT under 'Module Properties' it will say 6.0.0.31.

    Enjoy BBM 6.0!!

**Note: I've have tested the above directions three times on two diffrent devices - if you decide to try another way to install and it doesn't work please don't whine on this thread...

Be sure to hit the 'Thanks' button!

I followed the directions above, started app loader, and it does not show any update for BBM. Did I miss something?

I did that. I run apploader, and it says no files to update. I will try a reboot.

I've followed the instructions exactly, and sure enough it found the update when I restarted apploader.

It has installed it on my device, but its still asking me for a keycode?

    Maybe you've just been lucky?

Try deleting BBM completely from the device and try again

Weird, BBM is not showing up in the applications list at all. I unpluged from the computer to manually delete it from the pohne, and under options, there is no option to delete BBM. Any ideas?

You need to delete BBM from the Device menu in the options.

As for reinstalling BBM, in my list it appears quite a long way down, but it should be there.

You MUST copy my BlackberryMessenger.alx file to the OS folder - I've tweaked it to load the new BBM and to give the option to delete from the device...

I did this, and it's not in the list of applications in apploader. I will copy them again.

The only thing I can think I've done diffrently was loading Matrix Leader's 'Cursor Fix'
    (http://forums.crackberry.com/f95/bla...81/index2.html POST#16)
first then loading BBM6.0 over top of it
