Default Best Bold OS for Battery?

Im on .266 now, what else is better for battery? Do you think I should try out 5.0? I don't need stability on my phone, so it's no issue

I've had everything since .167 (beta and official) and so far as I can tell .266 has the best overall battery life for me and I'm a heavy user.

My perception was that .247 was best for battery for me, but I'm never too far from a charger so I guess I could be wrong.

.266 so far is same as the .162 and has failry good/excellent battery life.

.162 gave me 4-4.5 hours of talking and .266 i am still testing it, but so far drainage is the same, so far that means it is comparable, but time will tell.

I run a bold and i am on rogers.

i've been back on .266 for about a week now (mainly for battery life). missing the better picture quality that OS 5 software offers though. but .266 is solid.

So it seems that people are split between 5.0 and .266?

Im in that same boat with you. .266 for me was killing my battery with quick drains and the battery constantly getting warm. I didn't get this problem with .237 or .247 so it was back to .247 for me.

For those that sat 5.0 is better that .266, how was .266 for you? For me, .266 is by far better than any others. Have yet to try anything 5.0.

    .266 + Seidio 1650 = awesomeness!

I'm on over 2 full days since my last charge, with normal use. I'd say a fair amount of web browsing (2G) and a little Wifi also. I'm still at 20%!

Could it be that 5.0.93 is better in battery life because there are less apps running since a lot of them are not compatible?

I'm using .247 right now, and it seems good so far. I have to retry .266 again

In 5.0 it was awsome the first weeks then it started to drain so quickly that i ve decided to go back to .266

For me .266 is the best app so far concerning compatibility and bat life and stability.

I've just come back to a Bold from the javelin and I've found that the .247 is the best for me so far... Does anyone know where I can actually dl .266 to test it? I've had a look at .93 but whilst its slighty better than .247, the incompatibility of a majority of apps means .247 for the win!

    Anyways... .266 dl link anyone?

I agree with most here: I ran .247 then .93 then .266 and battery life seems good, espcially for me: IM apps running & connected, Pandora/Slack running all day on WiFi and EDGE, and vibrate+tone for emails (maybe 60 a day?) and SMS/IM (easily over 100).

I wasn't satisfied with the 5.0.0.93 as the cursor was laming in main menu when scrolling around in a circle. It just doesn't run fluently for me and the graphical numbers that display the runtime of tracks in the media player are faulty (graphic failures). Maybe I had too high expectations in that OS but I downgraded back to .266 after almost 20 minutes. Will wait now for the first official 5.0 OS and will install it by doing a wipe before, to get sure there will be no failures transferred.
