8900 Curve with OS4.7 HELP
Hi there,
I upgraded to OS 5.0.0.190 today from 4.7 but ddint like 5.0.0.190 so i have wiped my BB but cannot find the OS install for 4.7.
I have been searching here for hours and cannot find it so was wondering could someone help me as currently i have lost all my apps and stuff as i cannot restore my BB. I have installed OS 4.6.1.250 but cannot find the update for 4.7.
Can anyone please help me as i not got BBM or anything at present.

Wow you lost everything? Is 4.7 installed on your comp? did you Uninstall the .190? I am so sorry. I hate the 190 but hate the 4.7 more so I am stuck with the .190. All of the .100 I found are corrupt.

Basically lost all my apps etc, got contacts and some messages but i backed up late last night to try 5.0 today but it sucks to be honest.

had my BB just how i liked it but being me i wanted to try the new OS that will teach me.
Any ideas about getting my backup file to load Jalista?
WOuld appreciate any help, not even got BBM at the moment

You could do a restore from the DM. You could then pick which back up file you want to use on your phone. I had the same thing happen when I upgraded to .190. now every .100 is unstable so im stuck using this darn 190 but from my phones browser I downloaded the BBM 4.7 from the bb website. Not sure if this helps. I hope it does..

Well i think it was OS 4.7 for my 8900 cant remember exactly now.
Can anyone advise if i can get a restore done with my backup file?
Am desperate to get my stuff back as there are things on the backup that are special to me as i lost my daughter on 14/08 this year and want my phone back as it was.
Please help me if you can to resolve this one.

The backup appears to load when i run DM but not everything is back
