OK. Here we go.
Downloaded successfully and everything is working so far. Did the mandatory battery pull after install just to make sure. First impressions:
1. Browser is at warp speed. Huge improvement.
2. Orientation is quicker especially after I deleted the log files and hid "All Types".
3. Camera works much more smoothly with very little lag on the click (shutter) reaction time. Also, color seems improved.
4. Phone functions are good and signal strength is stronger from my usual locale.
5. Using Zen Theme with a custom home screen and still can't get the picture to "fit to screen" in Portrait mode no matter what settings I use. Not a big deal but a little annoying
6. Memory is up and will monitor along with battery drain and see if it holds better. Battery was not a real problem with V2 but hope to see some improvement.
All in all this appears to be the best yet. Except for me wishing for a "GO" or "SEND" button on the keyboard for e-mails and messaging, I don't see what can be improved. Big kudos to BBCrackman and cohorts for making this possible. I'm just a simple user but love my toys & like to keep current.
Again, a big thank you.
