I realize this is probably a pretty dumb question and I promise you that I have attempted to use the search function to find the answer here before asking . . .

My husband, due to his line of work, prefers to send "pin messages" to "text messages" from his blackberry to mine. Based on his instructions, I have successfully sent him several messages. However, his replies seem to disappear into the ether. Do I need to set something up? Am I being a complete idiot? Feel free to give the honest answer!

Are you sending and receiving from the actual BBM app or through your Messages folder?

I went into his contact info and selected "PIN XXXXX" (so not through BBM - he's not permitted to have that app on his work-endowed phone).

Supposedly he's tried both replying to the ones I've sent and initiating a new one and I've not received anything.
