Hi everyone....36 yr old Afro-Caribbean guy from London, UK. New to BB and to this forum. Looking forward to making friends here and getting help and maybe helping others.
Hello! I have wanted a blackberry for many years but have stayed away from data plans for cost reasons. Anyway my contract is up in august and I think I'm ready to take the leap. I was smitten with the 9930 because many have said its the best bb yet, esp the keyboard; but now today comes news of the bb10 and all the accompanying excitement. I am eager to learn from you more experiensed bb users as I anxiously wait to jump on board; would I be making a mistake to get a 9930 with this bb10 coming out? Its cool and all that but I thought I'd rather have the physical keyboard, so I figured I'll go with what works for me. I don't mind not having the latest and greatest, but I don't want to have a phone that nobody is dev'ing for if all of rim's resources are redirected to bb10. What thoughts might you experienced bb users offer? Thanks!
I say go for the 9930. You'll love the experience and I know developers won't disregard it either, as OS7/7.1 devices are still being made and manufactured.

Hello! I've had BB for about 5 yrs now. I have the torch 9810 sadly through att so running old OS. I'm new to crackberry forums but hav e been visiting the site for yrs. I will be trying the new leaked OS 2moro will use this site to guide me through
I had an account recently although because it wasn't under my usual online alias, I've lost all the details for it o.O So I made a new account, I hope that's okay. I'm pretty sure I only made one or two wee posts!
I switched back to Blackberry from Android, some 2 months ago, now owning a Curve 9360 to give BB a second chance. For whatever reason I just couldn't work with the 8520 when it was released. Smitten by the 9360 and hoping to upgrade in the new year, which is why I thought I'd register here to get opinions from other users about the types of BB's they're using.
Anyway, I do yatter on...lol! Seeya around the forums
Hi everyone... sorry for not doing this a couple of weeks ago but I was so excited about the "Z10" being released that I just wanted to see how it was being received. My "Z10" is being "shipped" as we speak and will be here (NZ) in a couple of days!!!
This will be my first BB phone ever, so like everything else new that I purchase, I'll let the technology dictate its future with me...I have never owned or wanted an Android or an IPhone (nor do I degrade other brands or peoples choices), mainly because I wasn't happy with "Touchscreen technology" at the time (5 years ago)... yep I've been using my trusty old "Nokia N86 8MP" ever since, with a great camera by the way... so the "Z10" will be analogous to climbing out of a "Toyota Corolla" and into a "Mercedes S Class"... at least to me anyway.
Thank you "Kevin" for giving us this community... to communicate to like minded "crackberrians"
Jon...
