On my Palm I was able to have 2 different ring tones one for numbers I knew and 1 for unknowns.

Is there a way to do this with out having to enter each individual number a personal ring tone?

Out the box no. That's definitely a useful feature. I usually had it with my Sprint devices.

Sadly things like that are device and software specific. My Sprint LG that I have now does NOT have the feature. Alltel has the same model LG but it DOES have that option due to the difference in software.

Oh...and I've never seen a berry, regardless of carrier, that had the capability..but I'm with you...I like having that option
