Hi all,

I just bought a BB 8707.
and everytime i insert the phone into the holster, a message comes out, prompting me "Do you assign a speed dial to P?"
I find this very irritating...pls help me!!!

Try putting it in the other way. Sounds like when you put it in, it is hitting the P key.

What is happeneing is that as you put your phone into the holster, somhow, something is pressing the 'P' key and this is what is initiating the message.

You can test this by pressing ahlod holding down the 'P' key (or almost any other key for about 1 second and you will see the same message.

The fix? Look carefully at how you handle your phone as you put it into the holster and check to see if there is anything in the holster that could press the button for you.

Stupid is stupid. I really did insert the phone into the holster the wrong way. I didnt which way it was suppose to be. Haha...But thanks guys for the quick help. appreciate it
