    Hi - I have an 8100 and wondering if another method exists to soft reboot/reset the device? I know when installing some new software it may ask you to reset without having to take the battery out.

    Try ALT+CAPS+DEL (use the caps on the right side of the device)

    ...it works on the QWERTY devices, not sure about the Pearl. So, you can be our tester...
