    Can you change the number of characters that are in the sms message? On my pearl I can only type a message with 160 characters. And I sometimes like to write a book Lol...

    I think 160 is the cap on texts for nearly all carriers.

    if you must send a longer messeger you can send an MMS without a pic. i think the character limit is 1000. if your carrier allows you to send MMS.
