Hello All!

I just recently joined the BlackBerry family. Was a former iPhone user, but decided to switch when my subscribed plan expired.

I'm still trying to get to know my phone better -- there is quite a lot of possibilities and potential. However, if there is a downside, it's probably the "push" notification which I thought was both a rave and a rant on my part.

PS: is there a way to turn off the push notification? it's sort of driving me mad because i feel the need to check my phone everytime it beeps :X

Check out BB101 in the help forums for lots of information to get you started. Turn off the message sounds in options>sounds and ringtones>profiles to miss the notifications. The addiction to constant checking is tough to break.
