seriously...the only thing about my new pearl THAT I DO NOT LIKE is the fact that I can't shutoff the dang tones when I dial a number...
not a work-around...not a volume down...a shut off...
why why why does such an amazing phone have such a ******** feature...
I love my new pearl don't get me wrong, but I have had lots of lesser phones that did not make that much noise and if the did I could shut them off...
under the pros column: well...how much time do you have...
I'm too new to build any kind of list, but I haven't found a Con yet.
Then on the other hand, I just got giddy that someone sent me their phone number through email, and I was able to click on it in the email to dial them.
Just for the record. My Pros/Cons.
Pros: All
Cons: None
Sorry guys/girls just calling it like I see it. After my wife viewed mines for the first time. She went crazy. Now there are two addicts in the family.
Pros: most everything
Cons: non threaded txts (with so many people wanting it I'm surprized it aint done yet!)
And no ability to change colors and icons straight from the device...( That'd be soooo nice)
Well that's my wish list I mean pros and cons... Hopefully mr. Big at rim will read these forums and bestow upon us some superberries!!!

It's almost as if it appears that we might be in for a surprise real soon with the minor request for this BB Curve in the future. As if Mr RIM had no idea. But anyway, I'll be fine with this model for the next two years.

Pro- I love the gps on the 8310 and its accuracy! I walk from the back yard to the front and its right on track!
Pro- Love the web accessability, the OTA downloads are the best!
Pro- The free themes and ringtones with the user defined ability to customize it are awesome! (Beats a locked down from from an overpriced service provider!)
Pro- Great computer software to backup the phone contents!
Pro- Love the ability to send pics between the wife and friends without worries of the cost or the amount of data usage!
Pro- The BB Messanger is a god send!

Con- Have to remove the battery to access the memory card.

Hey db, you can mute your key pad, just go to your options, screen key board options, and turn your key tone off.
