What service provider are you with? If you have sprint/nextel, unfortunately you can't. With any other provider go into the messaging folder and hit the menu button. It should be an option on there .

That's not true, I have T-Mo and my sis has Verizon, and she gets pictures from me over MMS, bluetooth and email

You can start by changing your camera setting if you take them with you camera on your phone. If the picture is something you DL'd, than put it back on your PC and use Paint to reduce the size.
