Palm to BB?
I've read a few forum responses on importing Palm data to a BB and unfortunately, I'm still having issues.
I have the Palm Desktop, which I have always used for my old Zire 71. I want to import my data from the Palm to the Curve (the whole idea of going to the BB was to have 1 device instead of 2)
I launched the Switch Device Wizard and it allows me to select the Palm, it says it's starting, shows the Calendar and "Transferring..." and then it freezes up. I have the Palm attached to the PC, I have the Desktop running, I have my Curve attached. I don't know.
Many posts end with someone saying, "Just synch to Outlook and then to the Blackberry and you'll be fine". SO, I exported all of my data to Outlook. Now, when I try to run the Wizard, it still looks for the Palm desktop. If I rename the Palm folder, it doesn't allow me to use the Wizard.
How do I synch Outlook to the Curve? (I never use Outlook for anything)
I'm so frustrated right now.

Here are a few easy steps.
Change your conduits to sync with Outlook for your Zire.
Now be sure to go to Hotsync manager and change all the settings to Handheld Overwrites Desktop. This should easily import all your data to Outlook.
Now just plug in your BB and then go to Options?(whichever is the middle on the menu bar) in the BB Desktop Manager. This will give you the option of what to sync your bb with. It should list like Outlook, Outlook Express, Lotus, etc.
You will have to go into each category(contacts, calendar, etc.) and select to sync with Outlook.
Then once all these are selected, tell it to synchronize.
If I am missing something someone please help and chime in.Justin

This thread looks promising, but I can't figure out how to change the conduits to sync with outlook. I'm using Palm desktop 4.1.4 and a Tungsten and simply CANNOT figure out how to get the calendar over to the BB. The first post here is exactly my problem. BB desktop sees my Palm, but the data transfer stalls out and quits the app. I don't use Outlook either... I just want my calendar to go over to the BB!! Can you help? thanks!

Tried to do this but then got the following error: The MAPI Spooler could not be started. Close & then restart all mail-enabled applications. MAPI 1.0 (000004C7). I just removed the Blackberry Device Manager because I read somewhere that it was inhibiting Palm from synching with Outlook. HELP!!!
