Am confused a bit here. If you have Office 2000, 2002, 2003, 2007 for your PC, and desktop manager installed, your BlackBerry 8800 will sync with Outlook...

I have a dell axim x51v that came with outlook. my email at work is set up for outlook. my job wont allow me to set up my bb to automatically connect so i thought i could use my usb at work to sync.

Well, if you have Outlook on your pc at work, and they allow you to install software (since I don't allow employee's to install software here...) install Desktop Manager, BUT, install as BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) and then you can sync...

ps: can I confirm, you do have Outlook in your environment at work, right? If your company uses something like Lotus Notes, or something else, then that is a whole other problem...

I have Outlook on my PC. Have DM BIS installed. I synch with Outlook but don't have the same functionality as is within Outlook. Is this what everyone else experiences?
