OK, so I've had an 8310 for a while now and I have been having problems with it. I got a new one through At&t warrenty exchange, so all is good now. Except I need to downgrade the OS on the old phone before I send it back so that the warrenty is all good. Problem is I can't delete the 4.5 OS from my pc because it's hooked to the new 8310. Question is How do I downgrade my OS on my old phone without deleting the current OS on my new 8310?

So I downloaded CrackMem but I can't get it to load 4.2.. I have tried and tried, but no luck. In all the forums I have read about CrackMem, it says when you select the os and hit "Confirm Operating System Selection" it's supposed to highlight in RED. Well it does not highlight in RED. So I don't know if the problem is there or what?

Use the Blackberry 101 lesson for upgrading your OS... it works the same to downgrade your OS: BlackBerry 101: How to Install or Upgrade to a New RIM BlackBerry Operating System (OS) | CrackBerry.com
