so yeah. just got my storm delivered and activated. i set up my email BIS settings and what not. Now, for the desktop manager, what exactly is this for? Do I install it then plug my storm in? What do I need to do to get my storm set up and awesomely working?

Use the Desktop Manager to backup your device on a regular basis. You can also use DM to add media and apps to your card and device respectively.

i only use DM to create a backup and for OS upgrades (which the Storm can do OTA apparently).

Cruise through the Storm section of the forum to find MANY helpful tips on setting up your Storm and improving the function!
