Just recently got addicted with a Bold, and now I'm trying to master the use of the device.

One of my biggest curiosities is if there is a way to assign custom shortcut keys from the home screen, assigning certain applications to certain letters that do not already have a letter. Is this possible?

If you have dial from home screen diabled there are shortcut keys for core apps, but you cannot add keys to be shortcuts for apps except the convenience keys.

I prefer the use of speed dial shortcuts, one contact for every letter on the curve!
