Newbie to BB & CB world

Hey everyone,
I'm a total virgin to BlackBerries and CrackBerry. I just recently purchased a 9000 Bold and so far I'm loving it. Walked into my local AT&T store thinking I was going to walk out with an iPhone and guess what, yup chose the Bold. My wife is going to try the iPhone and I almost want to convince her to get the same as me. One less device I have to try and learn to explain to her.
Anyhow, glad to be here and hope to learn so much.

Welcome. Seriously tell your wife to consider a BB too. I did for mine and she loves it. Especially the BBM!

Thanks for the welcome. Everytime I discover something new on my Bold I tell her about it and slowly trying to convince her to get it. Good thing is that she'll have a chance to try out the iphone for 30 days & if she doesn't like it she can trade it in for the BB. I've had mine for 3 days so far.

I'm new to this whole "Crack"berry addiction too! Any suggestions for applications I should have? Love the phone!!

I like Poynt a lot. Many good free apps out there. Trial and error, just DL em and if you don't like em delete em. Do a battery pull. No harm, no foul.
