and really thinking about getting a Blackberry Curve they have one on AT&T.com that is refurbished for 30 dollars. So im thinkin about that one cant wait! - 12-13-2007, 02:20 AM #3
I tend to shy away from refurbs but I'd jump on the curve in 2 seconds. It's kind of a toss up for me. Can't beat the deal but you'll want to make sure they'll fully back it - ie warranty and insurance.

My Treo650 was refurb, and my current Pearl is too. No problem with either, and I had that Treo for 2 years. AT&T doesn't insure any of their smartphones, but still a good warranty on them.

Some people actually prefer refurbs, I say this because if you think about it....you buy a new phone right out of the box, never been fully tested AT ALL, where as with refurbs they have gone back to the manufacturer all parts and etc have been checked and the device has been tested as well, it's much easier to get a lemon out the box, then one that been refurbed.
Excuse me, I'm making perfect sense. You're just not keeping up.
