Hey all,
Just bought a new, unlocked Pearl 8100 and have problems right out of the blocks.
First off, I placed my sim card into the unit, put the battery in and charged it fully.
The darn thing WILL NOT stay on. The screen blacks out, the red led comes on and it restarts - NONSTOP!
I've pulled the battery out in the hopes that it resets itself, no dice.
Here's where it gets a little strange. The phone stops resetting when I have it connected to my ibook via the data cable - but the darn thing won't even sync with my computer.
I bought the phone from BlueDragonMarket.com. Their customer service closes down at 7pm EST, and it's Friday at 7:30pm ARGH!
Any ideas on how to get this thing working properly?
